How Vitamins Benefit Our Body

Vitamins are one of the most important nutritional components that a healthy body needs. Vitamins are non-protein, organic molecules that are vital micronutrients for healthy bodies. Whole grains may be a better option for those who want more vitamins and mineral-rich food. Whole grains are rich in fiber, complex carbohydrates and vitamins, as well as minerals and phytochemicals. While whole grains are more expensive than white rice and corn flakes, the benefits are well worth the extra expense. As part of a healthy diet, some health professionals recommend whole grains.
